I wonder if this will hurt or help Bitcoin. I know the association with drugs via Silk Road harmed Bitcoin's public image. 2014 has been a great year for Bitcoin in terms of shedding it's seedy reputation because of the explosion in mainstream merchants accepting it.
It will help. Only the truly ignorant will think this is a negative association. You can buy drugs and porn with fiat more easily and those that don't realise it are fools. If Bitcoin is to become a legitimate and widespread currency then you will be able to buy
anything with it... Good or bad, illegal or legal or whether you think it is immoral, moral or amoral.
