You are right this feature is not a 'progres' at all, and the implementation is more than questionable...

I do not think this is proper way to go.
I agree that takink 20% from the miner is -funny-, and could have been solved by a tick box in the wallet and additional fee for anon transaction, instead by taking from miners, but sabotaging drk kike this will not solve the issue.
and will not help the coin to regain value, which IS BELOW LTC now again.

Nobody would bother to run masternodes if there was not an incentive that could be relied upon. Look at Tor or the issue BTC currently has with the declining number of full nodes. Charity does not work.
