After changing my rigs to NIST5 im getting 13 MH/s on my 280x rigs but temperatures are really high like avg 71c* wtf...
71c is not hot for a gpu. Anything beow 85c is OK IMHO
i tought this was meant to be cooler than x11. It consumes a bit extra watt power compare to x11. is 950w normal for a 5 x 280x rig???
When you're getting 3+ times more hashrate than X11 it's going to run hotter and use more power.
fair enough. but why were they informing people about this new NIST5 algo being much cooler and less power usage than x11. there is a big graph full of fancy colours on page 1 saying that...
So all that is just fake fake fake!!!!
