There is a good reason there is a distribution period for any coin, which included bitcoin itself -- it is to distribute coin to parties interested. During the initial distribution it is unreasonable to expect valuations or popularity of a coin which has been around for years, or in some cases which has been heavily marketed months in advance of launch. Nobody can expect from three weeks since the launch and beginning mining for a coin to be valued at millions of dollars, regardless of the innovation (which as of yet does not merit such a high valuation) I implore all miners, and shareholders to relax and stop pushing for an instant high valuation of a coin which is not feasible. Development is continuing on Shiny, and will continue. There are currently two core developers working on developing the core protocol (myself and laxori666 who has volunteered his help). From the network hash rate it is evident that there is still confidence remaining. Please stop this endless banter of coin valuations. It neither attracts people to the coin, nor does it bring anything of substance to the conversation, nor does it add any value in any way conceivable. In the coming weeks and months several core changes will be introduced, none of them copy/paste of code already in existing coins, but all being introduced to market first on Shinycoin.
