It's very important that we don't keep all our coins on exchanges. Have them in your wallet and staking.
After MP incident, i have no coins on exchanges anymore as there is no need for it. PoS coins are so fast that it is easy to transfer when needed.
Earlier I used to stake my cold storage only once a week, but after seeing the attack on PoS/Vericoin, I rather have all my coins staking 24/7.
Also with PoS 2.0 you won't be able to "save up" on stake, so better to get used to staking 24/7
Anyway this is good direction you help network you are rewarded.
More nodes faster transactions and network is more secure.
Add to that multi sign
technology to secure that staking process.
