Several people have suggested making a separate ANN thread when the wallets launch, and to make it self-moderated to we can reduce the spam and noise. What are your thoughts. I know there are pros and cons. As far as scam accusations, I would hope those are put to bed in this thread once the coin launches and coins are distributed. Anyway, I look forward to hearing your opinions.

I have nothing against a moderated thread.
But there must be a clear policy, delete, say, only rude messages or accusatory posts without any arguments.
Especially, as you said, you value their reputation and I think you will not abuse the moderator rights.

What I would like to really do is reduce noise. I don't mind scam accusations and all that stupidity, but not the same posts repeated over and over and over
For me. Anything goes so long as it is on topic and has some argument. I also dont have time to be baby sitting the thread, but in the interests of peace...
Of course, lots of people say moderated posts are the sign of a scam so cant win there
