This is very welcome news for me, I love the electrum bitcoin wallet, simple and secure, runs on anything with python, forces users to have a decent passphrase, no backups ever really needed, except of your passphrase.
Anyone care to explain to a newb like myself how the electrum wallet works? I know it's a lightweight wallet, but how do the inner workings work for a "normal" coin like bitcoin? I know some functions will be different for our coin, but I'd like to understand how it works in general. Thanks
