Bitcoin itself is a very strong investment. If you're investing with anyone other than doog it is probably a -EV move. There are too many ways for operators to swindle investors and nobody has a solid enough reputation or provable scheme to hold investments currently.
I'd just put your coins in coldstorage and check the price every month or so and watch your investment grow (at least in terms of $).

Sad but true. Will always be Bitcoins strongest and weakest point. At least this will encourage companies to find innovative ways to show loyalty and credibility. At the moment, the community helping each other out by testing new sites and posting on here seem to work rather well. However it is not very efficient.
