Currently, it is somewhat unique in the fact that was taken over by the community, so is truly decentralized/community run in that sense.
It was the first X15 PoW followed by PoS, but since PoW is now over, that is not really as big of deal. But the new community dev team already appears hard at work to improve this coin and make it more unique in the future.
