Unfortunately at this point a lot of them are so I think it is reasonable to think this way.
In my view a new perspective that wasn't constructed on the world view that coins are all about pumping and paid promotion would likely be more successful.
What do you mean by a perspective being more successful? Ideally everyone would have this perspective and cryptocurrencies would be much nicer. This ideal perspective is unrealistic for everyone to have at this point though.
