Most of us buy crypto to make a profit.
Is that what most people are here for? Seriously, I'm here because I truly believe crypto can change the world's financial nightmare and level the field between the commoner and the elite. Making money is just a side effect of that for me.
You are definitely in the minority.
I AM involved in VRC for ideological reasons however, but I hold no delusions of overthrowing the financial world. Crypto has the opportunity to provide a viable alternative to fiat currency, and I see VeriCoin as a possible leader in that area.
As far as the rest of crypto goes, most of it needs to do a lot of changing before it can be taken seriously as a real currency.
