I'm worried about this; 18 minutes and only old version gets blocks. That means majority of the coins are on old wallets. We might be forced to downgrade and postpone the interest halving.

Yes, I don't like it either, but we might be forced to do that. The height of the old chain is already 86441 blocks.
exchanges have updated wallets as well i may assumen, rolling back might become very difficult (time consuming).. Would it help if we launch a twitter compaign with more people to swich? We could try anyway.. but probably not many want to 'update' to a wallet that is not working well?
the wallet is working and staking - but we have to find a block through staking - to go on - when the exchanges have updated there will be no Problem if we wait because everyone that DONT UPDATE will get coins through staking thats worth nothing although it does not affect the coins in the wallet
