Try downloading the newest wallet v0.8.6.5, i downloaded it opened it up and poof my coins were there. If that doesn't work let me know and i will tell you the more complicated way of doing it. I would strongly recommend opening your old wallet and backing up your wallet.dat file before you do anything. The easy way should be to,open your wallet, then on the top task bar there should be a drop down simply choose back up wallet and pick somewhere safe. I always back mine up to a thumb drive i keep in my gun safe just incase my computers get stolen or crash.
