No, they did not drop the ETA. They were just writing about their development work, not releasing it to the public, and they were extremely cautious without giving hard date, just speculations.

That is a frickin ETA... They didn't say should be ready "soon". They are the one that unsolicited, come onto our message board and announced to the world that they should be ready or launch tonight.
