But if it's so important, why doesn't Litecoin hide IP addresses of people that use Litecoin?
Because it doesn't matter. To be private/anonymous you need to obfuscate BOTH, the originating IP address AND the coins in the wallet. One without the other gives you the same result - a loss of privacy.
Also it's a Bitcoin clone and doesn't offer anything besides a quicker block time and different hashing algorithm. What you are wanting is actual, tangible innovation, which is not what Litecoin offers (in my opinion).
