Poloniex Moderator here, This is indeed a scam email -- But for clarification, The Email was not sent from 'Poloniex@gmail.com', right?
It was sent from 'Poloneix@gmail.com' in every other instance...
Notice the misspelling.
Glad you were informed enough to know better than to send the scammer any bitcoin. Tristan Would never do this.
