Yes I agree, but to accomplish that we should "do" something. At least thinking (it never killed anyone

)
I report the link of an interesting article posted on cryptocoinnews:
http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/news/charlie-lee-litecoins-five-steps-creating-successful-altcoin/2014/07/19I think guncoin has everything but a miner-attractive-thing.
Watching the going of others coins I'm starting to think: if you want to reach all the guns-enthusiasts you have to start to reach miners.
Apparently it's the way things works...first of all there is the miner, then everything else.
Miners make the coin live...and its worth becomes higher...and the value attracts people and they start to invest in it.
The problem, I think, it's that when you talk about guncoin to someone and you tell him its "actual value" you don't light interest.
When I speak about bitcoin and say "One bitcoin now is at 620 dollars" I can see the "flash" in other's eyes.
My personal opinion is not to keep going to work harder and harder like Ganrom. He's a fucking hero, no doubt about that. But I prefer a Ganrom at peace with his mind then having an angry hero who may will leave our community. He's a column and I'd prefer not to lose him. I'm not saying we shouldn't keep voting and other things (and Ganrom is right when he writes we...we should vote a little at least xD I work like everyone else but still in those few days I tried to help him...obviously not enough lol);
my personal opinion is a) attract miners or b) hard pushing and reaching "True Gun People" (VIP, associations, facebook fans, etc.)
With option "b" I mean that if, somehow, we can have a really good marketing campaign, we can ignore the miners-attractive-factor.
Without option "b" I think we need the miners-attractive-factor...or at least something else "tech-ish" (like the coin you can use to pay instead of bitcoin...I don't remember the name but the idea was cool)
Cryptoworld is made of "Crypto"...it's tech...algo...miners...electronic stuff

LOL
@Ganrom
I think...that crazy people of the free-masonry-Gcoin didn't vote.
I think complaining with askcoin is not something we should count on...I'm just trying to imagine the situation...I think that someone on Gcoin(the slot-machine coin) wrote to Askcoin to add their coin to voting-list. They did it but they did a stupid research (exactly like I did xD) and they put the wrong link...but we all know that the free-masonry-Gcoin wasn't launched yet...I think no mason voted just because I don't think there was any them who knew about that vote (how could they possibly imagine that their coin was listed even if it wasn't launched yet?

).
Now...maybe I'm wrong...but I think it would be really really strange even if ONE vote was from free-masonry-GCoin...but still...maybe I'm wrong and there are lots of crazy people out there who spend their time looking for voting-events even when their own devs don't know

(and free-masonry coin's Dev doesn't know a lot of things...he doesn't know the algo yet! buhuhauhahhaha xD xD xD)
Anyway, thanks for the huge support Gan!
If I could make a few suggestions that your community may want to consider. While our coin is still cheap on exchanges, we are not terribly concerned with the prices and are really in about the same phase as GUN - stable coin looking for end-uses. Some things we did the past week that seems to have generated huge interest in our coin that end-users (not crypto-currency enthusiasts) are now looking at are two things.....
1) We released our banner farm - over a dozen banners to promote our coin on many websites including non-crypto ones to drive traffic to our website and for potential end-users to put on their website who may accept our coin as a payment system.
2) We released our Users Guide - written to the level of the novice crypto currency user or some one total unfamiliar with crypto-currency.
You can get links to both of these on our website and I do not want to post links here in your thread. We see both of these as useful tools toward educating and training the end-users and showing a level of support that very few other coins do. Bottom line, it is something our coin does that VERY few others do. It might be something else you want to consider to add to your list of tools and resources to help get GUN going stronger. I cannot imagine walking into a gun store in East Texas and trying to explain to them why they should accept GUN instead of USD - getting over that hurdle would be a LOT easier if you could hand them a book or white paper that tells them all about it and how to use it - Just my 3 cents worth. I can supply the info on the guy who did our manual and can cut you a deal before he gets flooded with orders.....Good luck guys!
