I would like to read to source code in order to see whether XC clones these new features from Talkcoin and Korecoin.

Now that's a silly idea.
If, at any point in the infinite future, someone gets a private key you used to chat, then they'd get your messages.

Gotta love XChat.
In the new release of Talkcoin users could create encrypted private room and only who knows the passkey could see the messages. Now only the name of the room still not encrypted, but in the next release all will be encrypted.
Ok. Ah well, it appears that there's no longer any doubt that XChat uses different tech to Talkcoin.
