IMO google chrome is very good. It is secure and made by google.
I don't think that the fact that it's made by google is to Chromes advantage... 
Well it's not necessary "made" by google. It's powered by the chromium project. Yes, they help develop it but attributing google with the creation of chrome is a little ehh.
