The answer is basically no. I get the reason why though, I used to rent rigs on leaserig and someone would inevitably rent a miner, want it pointed at some pool (running off a laptop in a dorm) and then complain when the pool went down. I think they should allow it and allow customer to "opt out" knowing that if you point the miner at a retarded pool, you get what you asked for.
