If you speaking in terms of being "NSA proof" then I'd say no. If that was the case the price would most likely be making new all time highs. From what I can see the work is still in progress but could be closer then many think, or not.
This is the problem with the anon race, most of these coins are good enough for most everyday uses. Do you really need NSA-proof anonymity to buy 50 dollars of weed on the internet? Even some of the weakest "anon" coins are more than enough to sew doubt that would prevent an indictment or conviction in a court of law. But to paranoid teenagers they think nothing is good enough.
Yes, most people is only looking for a coin where normal people like in this forum cant trace back his coins, not to perform an huge illegal act that can attract the nsa. even if you buy things in black markets with bitcoins nobody will tell you anything.
