Bitcointalk relies on the traffic generated by the altcoin forum. I would be surprised if Theymos would willingly allow this traffic to go elsewhere.
Mods here are doing more than allowing the traffic to go somewhere else, they're telling it to go somewhere else. This forum is no longer allowing users to post the information that miners and traders need. Thus, we are forced to disseminate to competitor forums.
