Hello,

I was just wondering: I am planning to buy something of a person online using Bitcoins, but what if he doesn't send me my item?
To me, a Bitcoins-dummy, a Bitcoin wallet seems like some sort of anonymous bank account because you can just fill in a fake name etc.
Now what if I buy something of this person, and he doesn't send the item to me, how can I report him or how can I know who he is? Is there a way I can use his BT address to see who he is?
I'm just very cautious as I don't want to be scammed.

Thank you very much,

Regards

Yeah you can't charge them back. It's like cash. You have to trust the other party. Or you need to use such an escrow-thingy service. They decide who gets the BTC in case of a dispute. I've never used one of those before, though. I tend to only do business with people I know for years. It's safer and also more fun.
