Can someone explain to me why anyone thinks Cloak's OneMarket is going to doing anything, when BC already has BlackHalo, a decentralized marketplace...?

What am I missing here? (Not trying to troll)

That's like saying "why does anyone thinks Cloak's OneMarket is going to doing anything, when there is ebay out there"

Ebay is not a decentralized marketplace... so no, its not the same.

RW-Stott = XC TROLL.

Yea, I own XC, and maybe I'd buy Cloak if I could get a serious answer.  I am trying to understand why you people think OneMarket will be significant.  BlackHalo is a decentralized market that people rarely use.  So, what makes you think people will use OneMarket?

Can no one answer this question?

a fair question

I am a power seller on eBay.  And, I periodically get ripped off from buyers for various scams.  Paypal and eBay will usually side with the buyer, if there are any claims.    Right now, if I want to convert an item to bitcoin, I have to sell it, get paid via paypal.  Transfer it to my bank account, and have coinbase take their time to give me the BTC.   With oneMarket, I can sell an item for cloak and do with it, as I please. Easily, convert it to Bitcoin, if I choose.    Look at the website Listia.com  They are doing the same thing, except, there is no way to get money.   I do believe this will be a big boost for Cloak.  And, will become very popular.

Thank you for your post. Some good information today in this thread.  I see it exactly as you see it.. Onemarket can get some Powersellers away from Ebay to Cloak.

You have to see Cloak as a whole:

1. Annonymous Paying / Receiving Money with Escrow System (Which has to proof that it works)
2. Secure Transfer via Cloakpal to US$?
3. Onemarket to list your Items
4. Less fees than Ebay / Paypal

What do I missing yet?

1. Logistics integration like UPS or DHL

If Cloak really delivers my first 4 points there is no way to not scale it up with Marketing to get it mainstream next to ebay.

IMO.
