Are you sure you don't have ports 26651 or 26652 blocked?
It seems my firewall is blocking incoming request to port:26652would that slow down my sync-ing? or have any other significant effect to me or to the network
and I'm using the included .conf file, would adding a few more nodes to the .conf speed up the sync-ing process?
because right now it's showing only about 4-8 connections, is this normal?
sorry for so many questions, this is my first desktop qt client ever
once I got the blockchain fully downloaded, expect a lot more questions coming... about staking & stuff
If your firewall blocks only incoming connections, you shouldn't have a problem.
You'd help more the network if you could accept incoming, but that's fine.
4-8 connections should be enough. I think the optimal is around 10, but that's not bad at all.
