Will the new PoS update cut back on the subsidy and max coin supply?  5 billion is a bit too much.

personally i still like the idea of it being around 15 billion. their needs to be enough liquidity to facilitate day to day purchases. 21 million is not enough. that and there is currently around $60 trillion in existence on the planet. you can't replace that with a total supply of 21 million. each bitcoin would have to be worth around $ 2.8 million. now add bitcoin transfer fees in at that rate, you could be paying up to $2800 just to move your money. now if we do the same thing to Noble, with 15 billion, it comes to an easy $4000. if we also compare the fees at that rate as well it comes to $4 to move your money.

now i know that the possibility of this is practically nil, but in the intrest of keeping it simple, i just used the entire cash supply of the planet ( a direct global conversion to bitcoin), and i know that i'm not including all of the debt, and this, that, and the other thing, etc... just cash.

can you see how much of a pain in the as that is? paying $4 to buy a $1 pack of gum, for a total of $5 dollars. try doing that when it costs $2,800 to buy that $1 pack of gum, for a total of $2,801 Grin.

the total amount should probably be around 60 billion, if that is the standard. but then you would need to convert all of the debt and everything. but the exchange must always cost less than the item being exchanged.
