If the community would actually help promote instead of provide ongoing negativity this coin could go huge.
Well there is actually nothing to promote yet. Just another _____coin. But when the Dev team starts to release interesting innovative and unique features, the promotion will be quite useful and it will take place for sure. So don't be surpised that everybody is so quiet - as soon as you'll deliver something interesting, there'll be much noise around QUID!

Nobody in the community has stepped up with a donation or even bother to lend us a hand developing. It may be because they also don't want to work for free.
Or it may be because 90% of all new coins is a scam. You see today people become really suspicious about new coins made by Newbie Devs.
So the trust must be earned. Begin delivering and you'll reach universal recognition, community support and donations
