Do what's best for the project. Idiot proofing is an exercise in futility. There's always a fucking crowd of goddamn incredible stupid assholes right around the corner. You can't stop them. Make it useful to people with brains.
Fuckups will fuck up anything no mater how hard you try, so don't waste your time catering to them, it's just wasted time because you're never going to win that fight. Resources spent on idiots are resources wasted.
