I'm not sure if those are comparable, because the time frames differ a lot. On the other hand, every "bubble" follows this pattern, so you might find this pattern on any coin which has had at least one major increase in price. Look at the charts e.g. on cryptsy and you'll be surprised how common this pattern is. In timeframes of some hours up to several months. 
What you are not accounting is that bitcoin is 1 tech release only... Cloak is working on several things.
All these altcoins being created are great, because there are a handful of altcoins that really make the difference with some sort of innovation. And one day, there will be an altcoin passing bitcoin... just like it happened on the social networks... Facebook was not the first to be created but introduced a lot of new features...
If devs can walk the walk... then cloak will be great. for sure
I only see bright future for cloak, just look at the facts: It has most amazing devs in the world, it has lots of new things being delivered every once in a while, not to mention how undervalued it is because of dumpers. This is my opinion... When others are greedy, be fearful. When others are fearful be greedy. It's time to be greedy, I am buying more
