I dont know if the took the easy way out, or if ViaCoin bought 2000 votes with a BTC.  If they did purchase votes, it would have to have been in the last hour of voting.

There are about 20 algos now in use for mined coins, and another few for coins that cannot be mined.  CoinWars only shows profitabllity for 8.  They need to get on the stick and add many other algos if they want to remain relevant:
