that guy who started dumping did a stupid thing for everyone including himself - he did not manage to sell 40BTC all he achieved was he lowered the price.

Someone does not know how & when to dump... He could have done it bit by bit and he would have sold it at better rates - even now when the trade volume is low a few dozens BTCs would get consumed if these were introduced gradually.
