I think most if not all of these questions are "answered" by the Hashlet announcement:

I believe a more accurate link to answer your questions can be found here:

The above link that moon mentions is filled with uneducated guesses and assumptions. Hope this helps! Smiley

The issue I can't seem to find a clear answer on is outlined in this screenshot from that hashtalk.org thread:

I'm not really sure how buying pools and/or rental services will allow you to increase mining profits. Many of us have been doing this for a long time, and some of us own both a rental service and a pool (lol), and have yet to find that magic 'double' button you guys claim -- I'll keep looking though, that's for sure. Wink

I haven't seen any "rental services" or "pools" announced as acquisitions of GAW, nor heard of any acquisition or buyout of mainstream service providers. I would urge that everyone exercise extreme caution, because as is always the case, the more fantastic-sounding the claims.. the more unlikely to be true they are when zero evidence is being presented.

It is extremely easy to refute the major questions in this thread. Post some details of datacenters with mining equipment, and a transparent record of your actual blocks mined + transactions. That's what blockchains are for, and what nearly every pool out there does.

ZenPool is at 93 GH/s now. Presumably it's not mining LTC otherwise it wouldn't be able to meet its profitability target. That kind of hashrate will be noticed if it exists. Not sure how accurate CoinWarz is but all the other Scrypt coins combined don't seem to add up to much more than 100 GH/s.
