99.99% of the fiat world thinks Bitcoin is a scam.
You are either part of the solution to getting digital currencies adopted or part of the problem that holds them back. There is no grey area in this regard.
If Darkcoin is successful, then Bitcoin can copy which parts of the technology they wish and adopt it. If they don't want privacy yet, then they can leave that to Darkcoin users.
Scamcoins don't request independent reviews from world respected experts....and the community doesn't donate to help them concentrate on giving a review.
If Darkcoin is a scam, then seeking a trusted third party to give a view of the code is the dumbest aspect of the scam in the history of scams.

i think btc users will have to wait awhile for darkwallet to get close to darksend (not even darksend+) level anon and even then there are problems like centralization, long waits, trust issues, browser plug-in etc. it's better than nothing though.
