TIPS FOR WINDOWS WALLET
not working?
1. delete everything in appdata/roaming EXCEPT wallet.dat (you should already have made a wallet.dat backup, if not MAKE A COPY of this wallet.dat and paste it on your desktop or another folder - i even put one on a USB stick just to be safe!)
2. kill the syscoin app running within your task manager (must be done or else you'll keep getting bad popup/wont open)
4. download the new wallet from this site (windows installer or the zip/whatever)
5. run setup/install as a fresh one, install it to the same natural directory as it was before (dont change), it'll install the new wallet files into that folder where your original wallet.dat is sitting
6. run the new wallet and bam, it should work.  
7. run the debug window under 'help' and copy/paste some  < addnode "xxxxxxxx" add > numbers in there, like 4-5 of them individually and wait a bit...it'll then sync up (right now it's stuck at 99% at the end due to traffic)

you are golden this way.
