If you are buying a Starbucks card and you feel uncomfortable that the dealer has control over the funds, I can transfer your code to a fresh card so that the seller does not have control over the funds. For this type of escrow, the fee is $1 + 0.5% of the card's value.
Of course, I can still escrow your starbucks transaction for free, but the dealer will have the codes.
