I don't want to rain on your parade here, but a price increase against .01 btc volume isn't going to impress anybody.
That's why Bittrex isn't a useful indicator. All the time you see huge rises and then you look and see a volume of a 10th of a BTC.
I did notice during the Bitcoin price carnage the other day that Ripple held up fairly well. Not that I am a fan of Ripple, but I found it interesting that it held up pretty well.
