Yessir that is correct.  If you think about it, without some surrounding factors the market movement will be nil compared to where it will be once people are mining, see the wallet for themselves functioning and what it can do, the new features we're adding in during this timeframe and so forth.  If it were to be traded around right now, it would only be the ICO coins moving around the market anyhow and that's not really trading at true value.
