The latest SILK wallet is horrible slow when syncing, it downloads exactly 500 blocks and then pauses for dozens of seconds while complaining about failed proof-of-stake.
Yes we have issues with slow sync. There is also a few sticks, where the client needs to be restarted. Best fix fir now is to goto
https://github.com/silkcointemple/silkcoin/releases/download/v1.1.0.17beta/SC-BlockChain-89216-win32.5.2.zip And unzip the blockchain from 90k into the silkcoin folder before startup. We will add a full blockchain download in the new release.
