All wallets are indeed syncing as long as you have the most recent version.
You should not need to change it, just close it, clear the data (except for the wallet.dat) and restart it, if it does not work, come on #syscoin on IRC and someone should be able to help you
Thanks, however while it was syncing, I just sent my coins to mintpal. Save my self the future headaches.
