[pretentious fluff]

Watch, as I dismantle your half-baked nonsense.

I already found the East Ukraine drama tedious because a simple analysis would show Putin holds all the cards while the bankrupt EU & US are withering economically & politically from within

Where is this simple analysis, then? Show us, don't tell us.

My simple analysis says that Russia is in a bad situation. They are highly reliant on gas exports, and they just buy everything they need from the EU or Asia. Meanwhile, Europe is developing shale gas and other alternative energy sources, and that's putting pressure on Russia's energy dominance in the region.
Russia's GDP: 2 billion
EU's GDP: 14 billion
need I say more?

so I stayed away from this forum for about a month, so imagine my surprise upon my return when I discovered there are already 4-5 paid trolls from the dark forces (at least the old one Hologram was not hysterical but these new ones are dirty-mouths). The desperation is now really obvious. NOt only have they increased their mercenaries but the tirades are now filled with vitriol and are cluttering the forum. The trademarks of their game are all over:  usual CIA tactic of presuming to incite anger & the usual narrative about WEstern democracy, etc.
Got any names?

In case you hadn't noticed, 2014 saw a sudden, massive increase in the number of threads like this one: 100s of pages long, mostly defending Putain and attacking Ukraine, apparently 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday. It took a while for a few people to start responding and calling them out on their Pro-USSR imperialist bullshit.

Unfortunately, [gibberish] going for broke.

Who's quoting the Guardian? In case you haven't noticed, the links people provide are mostly either .RU or independent blogs. The Kremlin recently passed some anti-blog laws to clamp down on independent news sources from within their country. They've been trying to control their media for years, but some people still listen to RT & co as if they're somehow neutral. It's like religiously watching Fox just because of that one time where they let slip that Osama Bin Laden had been dead since 2002.

...The reality of economic implosion and increasing fascism.
...So Putin comes as a breath of fresh air. The hero. Not perfect but he beats all the pretentious villains from the WEst.

Wow. Dem good drugs?
