Where is the scrypt-n asic? They are coming out.. but ive not seen a released one yet.
Or are you referring to the cloud mining contract that can do Scrypt-N or X11.. as in the FPGA.. and as we know FPGAs arent as efficient as GPUs at scrypt/scrypt-n. So its better to use a gpu mining contract than a fpga one with scrypt-n
If Scrypt ASICs are made, scrypt-N ASICS can be also taped out but not for sale. May be it's a conspiracy theory, but why not to develop an ASIC with the similar algo, although it has (twice ?) more logic and higher memory bandwidth. ASICS are cheap at mass production, so there will be little price difference compared to scrypt ones.
