Yes, it's going to cause continual downward price pressure unless inflation (aka block subsidy) isreduced eliminated.
0 inflation or DOGE will die if it relies on its market value being tied to BTC. BTC will simply not flow into something that is uncapped...
Capped flowing into uncapped = Nope.

Don't need 0 inflation. Just lower than USD's inflation is OK. 10 B or 5B new dogecoin every year is fit. Mining too much means nothing now. POS maybe better.
Woah, 10B would give an inflation way bigger than USD's. Imho, the sweet spot would be 2.5B; that would give enough coins to satisfy miners and stay away from the bad aspects of deflation, and at the same time it would be low enough not to have too much downward pressure on the price.
