I give up now. Even after downloading the whole blockchain (the last 3 weeks were missing) I takes forever to get going.
How the hell are new players supposed to get into this?
I have a bunch of huntercoin but have not downloaded the wallet yet. Your comment forces me to go through that whole process to find out if there is a problem. It will be a few days til I get to it but I'll let you know my experience.
you may want to just download the latest blockchain (managed by domob). syncing can take a while if its been a while.
