Any reasoning behind this? It would require an fork and that isn't so easy to make everyone change their source code and clients on such unpopular coin.
To make it more "popular", "open for all".... sha3 have limited users/miners.
And don't forget the pool flaw where clients can spoof their actual hashing power. I believe the majority of the dumpers are guilty of exploiting this flaw when there were BCT pools.
