So just thinking out in my head here  in light of the bitcoin7.com scam  ( which your's truly called it a scam https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=17043.0;all ) where and how do these scams come about ?

I'm starting to see a pattern here between the polish exchange , mybitcoin and the other's who seem to have been "scammed" by some bad people .  My theory:

Build a front-facing website that actually looks like a "business" , then cry-foul that russians came and took your business wallet along with all the BTC of your customers, sell the company to anyone who wants it  then walk-away with all the coins.

Rinse & Repeat. I mean all these sites come up with the same Bullshit could their be collusion involved with all these? Should we put Phinnaeus Gage on the case?

Thoughts?

That was the first person that came to mind when I read this post haha!  It does sort of have a similar feel the same situations Phineus has ranted about time and time again.  If you see a trend of scams then you may very well be on to something.  I think people often times make bad decisions with who they trust with their coins and the cycle just repeats itself.  None the less people need to have in the back of their minds the shady people they see in real life also have access to the internet..  And they get to be even more shady when they think nobody is looking, so be careful with whom you choose to work with and give control of your funds to(rule #1).
