Well, the original AsiaCoin was absolutely a scam, a huge hidden pre-mine where nobody even checked the wallet's code before adding it to their exchanges

I'm not sure if that guy's list is old or new, but I do think it's fine for him to have his suspicions, maybe the dev can try to contact him publicly so we can all see if this coin has truly been re-launched.
