I considered switching it on, but decided against it.
While I'd like to be able to be mad at the site for delaying the release of the feature, that's not the case - it's all my fault.

I wonder that myself. It was certainly hard to stop when I was winning so reliably.
I look back at my history and see that yesterday's loss "only" wiped out 7 days of profit. This time last week I was at 28 BTC profit, and now I'm at 30 BTC. So it would be easy to see this as a "temporary setback" and try to carry on with the "easy profits".
But I won't.
