... a hypothetical oneWhat happen if there will be no transactions in the air? ... Suddenly (reasons unknown), all users stop just sending bitcoins for a while.
No new blocks? ... or blocks without transaction or ...?
Transactions need blocks for confirmations, blocks dont need transactions. There are plenty blocks that have no transaction even recently.
