This is helpful, thanks, it is good to be reminded of the block reward reduction schedule. So basically this price action is driven by the upcoming block reward reduction. Makes sense. Doge has hung in there and with merged mining looks to be a survivor. So there will be some demand as there is still a decent community supporting it. However, I wonder if the price relative to BTC will hold since there will still be a lot of coins out there? I don't see a demand side boost.

This estimates are off a little bit. We are at block 365033 only. So ~35k blocks to go (~24 days) and halving date should be somewhere around October 1.
So the exact calculation is more or less that one that I've posted before?
If 100,000,000,000 coins = 1'5 years circulation
8,551,961,223 coins remaining (aprox) = X
X = (8,551,961,223 * 1'5) / 100,000,000,000 = 0,128279418345 years.
If 1 year = 365 days
0,128279418345 years = 46 days Since yesterday.

I'm not talking about the end of mining, I'm talking about 400k blocks halving which was estimated on September 9 before and now it's somewhere around October 1. And mining rate is not constant (it's decreasing in moments of halving) so your math is wrong too.
