To be fair it took me a decent amount of time before I understood anything about activity increasing.  This was mainly due to me only ever being in bitcoin discussion/altcoins for the most part. And when I did go into the other sections where it had a sticky about it I just didn't notice it as I am so used to ignoring sticky things because I generally don't care about them.

At one point I did ask about it and I did try to google it and just couldn't get answers I needed. But I know about it now and it would help if it was included in the "Help" section in the main toolbar on this site but it isn't in there at all.
